my own homophobic
short-comings and intolerance
my expectations and limitations towards
and in relationship to
each and every general yet specific aspects of
"our silly cultural and vindictive renditions of human behavior"
that I can recall ... that I cannot forget
I appear to have remembered it all
from both within myself and from others, as well
all of the trite assumptions and notions combined
and all of the common affectations of distate and disdain
and all reactionary behavior-modes of yester-year, tomorrow and beyond
that lends heavily still, towards a universal stereo-type
of all incongruous nuanced conformities and communications
excavated from deep within my known and unknown psyche
excavated deep, from underneath the surface
excavated from the shallow depths
our collective queer community.
